Continuous Improvement Intern

The intern will be responsible for understanding the Supply Chain and working on quality, waste, and efficiency initiatives. The intern will be given one main project to complete during their 8-12 week internship, and multiple smaller assignments. The intern will be responsible to understand, plan, and execute their project using standard project management tools and Lean methodologies with guidance from their manager. They will provide routine updates to the management team and have a final presentation to the Senior Management Team upon project completion. This role reports to the Continuous Improvement Engineer.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering ? Mechanical or Industrial
Good planning, organizational, and analytical skills
Proactive and self-motivated
Key Leadership Competencies in addition to Ethics / Values and Integrity / Trust, (Action Oriented, Priority Setting, Decision Quality, Organizing, Process Management
System skills required ? Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred language skill ? Must be able to speak, read and write in English

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
