Part-Time Maintenance Instructor-Economic Development Department

Must have 5 years of paid work experience in an applicable industrial maintenance setting where mechanical systems, hydraulics, motor and process controls, electronics and sensors experience have been mastered. Require excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred qualifications: Postsecondary teaching experience; bilingual language skills (Spanish-English); experience in training and understanding of safety requirements; previous instructional experience in a manufacturing or military environment.
Education Requirements
Must be qualified to teach mechanical and electrical systems, to include: hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and pumps and piping. Electrical systems and electronic controls for industrial maintenance applications.
Responsible for teaching Industrial Maintenance courses. Flexible schedule, able to teach both day and evening classes, up to 29 hours per week.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
