Working under general supervision, the Workforce Scheduling Analyst will be responsible for the implementation of talent and workforce planning tools and methodologies to help identify the talent and resources needed to properly support the business objectives for the King's Hawaiian manufacturing plants.
This includes workforce planning and analysis, tracking and analyzing retention, managing programs and processes, etc.
The Workforce Scheduling Analyst will follow process standards for addressing business needs, forecast recruitment needs, project staffing availability, report on observed data trends and analysis and analyze labor costs to support managers in decision making.
This individual will also provide guidance on the process and format of the annual staffing plans.
Employees in this position may interact with their leader when needed, to receive guidance and feedback.
Some non-routine activities may require their leader's advance approval, but routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with internal and external business partners such as Payroll, Benefits, Production, and IT to develop HR-related reports and metrics.
Attend weekly and daily staffing review meetings with management and forecast/scheduling team to present and review performance and risks for the appropriate period of time.
Assist with gathering functional requirements, development, testing, implementation, and support of various HR/Workforce-related projects/processes.
Fill overtime and under time availability.
Manage intraday staffing levels.
Monitor real-time adherence alerts.
Manage call-in line.
Approve discretionary activities to increase occupancy.
Administration of intraday schedule changes.
Communicate identified intraday risks to management.
Provide ad hoc and system-generated reports as required.
Interface with varying levels within the organization.
Develop and take ownership of performing various data administration tasks and analyses, including data mapping, validation, error-checking, importing/exporting, auditing, and data protocols.
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role.
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE) Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business Administration, HR, Project Management, or Workforce Management from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience required; Prior workforce management or workforce analysis knowledge required.
At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in Workforce Management, forecasting, an/or operations and data analytics is required.
Manufacturing industry is preferred.
Prior experience supporting workforce management projects, scheduling and planning is preferred ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE) Proficient knowledge in ADP, Workday, or other related HRIS systems is required.
Kronos or Workforce manager experience preferred.
Expert knowledge in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficient knowledge in Data Analytics, Capacity Planning, and Forecasting for scheduling/staffing needs Ability to work-cross functionally and build relationships with multiple departments and key business partners to meet necessary business objectives Excellent presentation skills to deliver qualitative and quantitative data in a clear and concise manner Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
