This includes ensuring adherence to established patient safety initiatives, risk management programs, and patient variance processes.
The Specialist will analyze data to identify patterns, conduct investigations, and perform audits to promote the integration of patient safety practices and risk management principles.
They will also focus on reducing patient variances, ensuring provider documentation compliance, managing the patient dismissal process, and upholding privacy and compliance requirements as needed.
Furthermore, the Specialist will generate regular reports and share compliance rates with providers and practice administrators.
Additionally, they will deliver training to staff and providers on topics such as risk management, patient safety, and provide assistance with HIPAA/compliance reviews when authorized.
Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications:
Certified Professional In Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) - OR - Certified Board for Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) - Required Certified Healthcare Compliance Officer (CHCO) (Preferred) Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma GED (Required) Minimum
