Weighing packages and labeling them appropriately Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged Inspecting shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulations Assembling daily orders received Ensure accuracy of all orders Keeping records of packages including delivery notes, invoices, etc.

Complete all necessary paperwork for receiving and placement of product Receiving product and placing in correct areas of warehouse Acting as floater in area performing all duties assigned.
Material Handler skills and qualifications A suitable Material Handler needs to have the following skills and qualifications in order to be qualified for the role:
In-depth knowledge of receiving and shipping procedures Good knowledge of basic arithmetic:
addition, subtraction, division and multiplication Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment for long hours Excellent organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Good communication skills Material Handler experience & physical requirements One year's experience working in this role, or in a similar role is preferred.
The Material Handler should be comfortable working on their feet for a considerable amount of time and must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

The Material Handler should have experience working in a warehouse or factory and receiving goods for replenishment.
Must have experience using computers and have the ability to navigate through shipping/receiving program/software.
Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.
