The cable cutter is responsible for supplying all cable to support production work in cable assembly department and cells Pull cable from stock as call out by job order Notify supervisor of parts not in system or any shortages Verify all equipment is in safe working condition Operate cable measuring equipment Measure and cut cable Continual checks of products to ensure no defects exist Stage product for existing orders Move materials to warehouse for storage Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure personal safety as well as the safety of co-workers Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards Job Requirements Ability to perform to verbal instructions, as well as read/write English Excellent communication skills Ability to read schematics, part list and job order Walk or stand on hard surface for long period of time Flexibility to perform tasks which require bending, twisting, climbing, pulling, reaching overhead, and repetitive use of hands for an extensive period of time Attention to detail Ability to work independently Must be self-motivated Must be reliable Job Type:
